As I walked into the Greyfriars Bobby’s Bar in Edinburgh for a pint, I didn’t expect to come across four Hogwarts professors. Dumbledore, Lupin, McGonagall, and Tonks were seated together, as if they were plotting a defence strategy against the Dark Forces.

Their costumes were strikingly convincing, and their demeanour even more so. The four friends were from Orlando, and Remus was portrayed by David Clark (@remus.does.cosplay on Instagram).

I couldn’t resist the urge to improvise a shoot, playing with the pub’s shadows and light to create something that looked straight out of the wizarding world. They didn’t hesitate for a second and agreed with a warmth that was genuinely heartening.

When I asked them to ignore the camera, they immediately slipped into conversation like true professors of magic. Everything was so unexpected, and yet it all felt completely natural. I tried to capture that atmosphere and shape the colours into something purely cinematic.
